Adult playgrounds needed.

Cut the cost of housing and rent in half or more and watch the economy instantly improve and homelessness disappear.

Cut the cost of housing and rent in half or more and watch the economy instantly improve
and homelessness disappear.

Real estate, home / house sales, rental rates for apartments, house, duplexes, condos,
business rent and lease rate reductions are inevitable.
The current ridiculous high rent rates can no longer feed the rich.
$750.00 a month to rent an apartment or an old 3 bedroom 1 bathroom house:
is that feasible if a person works for $7.50 an hour 40 hours a week?
Approximately $225.00 per week take home pay after taxes.
That is $900.00 per month.
900-750=150.

$150.00 left to pay for all utilities (electricity, gas, water, sewer/trash),
car/auto insurance, clothing, insurance for health, food, gasoline for the automobile,
unexpected expenses like auto repairs, miscellaneous like phone/telephone,
cell/ celluar (telephone expense is not included as a necessary cost of living
expense according to the government yet they expect you to have a phone
number they can reach you at if you apply for food stamps, medicaid/medicare/
social security/disability, etcetera)

Empty offices and buildings, vacant houses, unrented apartments are
increasing by leaps and bounds every day.

People who have worked at a job all of their life suddenly lose their job
and soon become homeless, wandering the streets searching for food
anywhere they can find it. They stand around street corners, at intersections
of any street or highway holding up
hand made signs on cardboard asking for money: "Will work for food"

Many nice, polite, normal people who have turned into beggars
have approached me at several places in my neighborhood
asking me if I have 50 cents, a quarter, any spare change or a dollar.
"Excuse me, would you happen to have any extra change, the food pantry
isn't open again until next week. I am trying to help feed my family,"
a young male (a mixed race teenager riding a bicycle)
said to me a few weeks ago as I was leaving Dollar Tree store
at the old Truman Corners shopping center in Grandview, Missouri.

"How you doin? I am sorry to bother you Miss but do you have 50 cents you
could spare?" an elderly (I am guessing in his 60's) black man asked me
as I was going to my vehicle in the parking lot at 87th & Blue Ridge Blvd
in Kansas City, Missouri
where there is Dollar General, Save-A-Lot grocery store and several other
businesses.

I am cautious when I go out, wherever I go, to shop, to look, to walk.
The west side of Bannister & Blue Ridge Blvd has a
Price Chopper grocery store, a laundry mat and a Liquor Store.
I have been approached several times by people asking me for money.
Are they homeless? I don't know.
Sometimes they use a different strategy. They ask me for gas money while
holding a gas can and tell me the story of how they ran out of gas somewhere
close by.  I asked one man where his car was and he couldn't tell me.

I am in no way able to hand out change or money to anyone. I don't have any
extra change to give away. I am scrapping and scraping down to the
bottom of the barrel on everything. I have serious health problems and
am unable to work a full time regular job every day. If it weren't for my
husband who is maintaining the household I would be homeless,
out on the street, begging and searching for food, shelter, warmth
and survival.

"The Wealthy Go Homeless And Walk The Streets" would be a great show
to watch on television if you're rich enough to have a tv to watch.

We are bags of chemicals.

We are bags of chemicals.
It is true doctors have saved my life more than once when I was ill and when I was pregnant. However,
the majority of time they simply want to cut me up or prescribe drugs/ prescription medications and
keep me coming in regularly for visits.
Exams/examinations, using knives/scalpels, treating symptoms with pills and more pills to
counteract the side affects of the other pills, scheduling more follow ups are the common
methods of treatment.
A psychologist and a psychiatrist I saw many years ago would ask me questions, listen to me talk for 45
minutes of the hour session, never solve any of the problems I had but made a diagnosis
of bipolar disorder. Sessions always ended with a prescription for depakote, lithium,
zyprexa or neurontin.
The psychiatrist / doctor of medicine does not live my life in my house and has not
experienced my life in the past. He/she cannot solve my problems. He/she does not
want to solve my problems. They don't want to help solve the problems, they want to keep them
coming as that provides them with more income.
As a child I wanted to become a psychiatrist. As an adult I discovered through
experience that the industry is a farce.
I really want to help people. They don't.
I wanted to find the reason for insanity, hysterical neurotic, crazy, neurotic, neurosis, psychotic,
schizoid, schizophrenic.
I found the reason. It is believing in lies, untruths. It is projecting those lies
onto other people and trying to force them into believing them.
This always results in confusion.

The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest her or his patients in the care of the human frame, in a proper diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease. Thomas A. Edison

Head to toe

Head to toe.
Hair loss on head. Losing lots of  hair every day. Grey hair at temples and some on scalp.
Vision getting worse. Readers 1.75 not working very well.
Ears. Can hear most sounds okay but have real problems hearing
someone correctly if there is any background noise or distance.
Facial skin, body skin, arms, shoulders, chest, torso, back, legs,
everywhere are some brown spots. On face, patches of yellow discolored skin oily acne large pore
pits from cystic acne starting at age 11. Pits from acne also on entire back.
Nose crooked, deviated septum. Can't breathe properly through either side, right or left.
Mouth ulcer inside right cheek close to lip.
Crooked mouth, very noticeable. Left side a lot higher, right side drooping.
Upper left first molar is half composite filling. Has crack. Went to dentist, he
put sealant on the crack in September 2015. Felt okay for a couple of weeks, I think
the sealant may have come off, now the pain is back.
Teeth Cleaning scheduled December 8, 2015. Not sure if I will have $160.00 to pay for it.
No dental insurance.
No health insurance.
No job.
Neck wrinkles, sagging.
Arms skinny, very hairy.
Bony old hands with age spots. Joints look crooked.
Stomach makes loud rumbling sounds. Can't eat too much at once.
Right side gallbladder pain. Feels like food stuck all the time.
Indigestion, heartburn, flatulence, gas belching burping farting.
Bad breath according to many people.
Noisy stomach and intestines so loud people can hear it easily and comment on it.
Left lower back lumbar region pain. Back has huge hump on left side starting above
hip going all the way to the top of back.
Scoliosis left lumbar curvature of the spine.
Right leg shorter than left leg. At age 14 orthopedic surgeon diagnosed said
right leg 1" inch shorter than left leg. Recommended shoes with a right shoe that had a lift.
Never got. Used to be 5'6 1/2" tall. Last time I measured height it was 5' 5 1/2".
Calves of both legs, right and left, hurt all of the time.
Varicose veins, spider veins on legs. Right leg calf on right side of leg purple blue veins
left leg bulging vein spot below left knee same place my mother had bulging vein.
Skin infection could be psoriasis / eczema big patch is itchy dry flaky behind right knee since 2011.
Before this a big skin rash patch was on the front right knee starting in 2009.
Middle toe broken on left foot on November 4, 2015. Still black blue purple, sore, toenail
damage, toe hurts. Bruising on top of foot.
Itchy flaky scaly psoriasis patch on middle of back to right of spine.
Insomnia. Tire easily. Work in spurts. Require naps. Frequent brain fog. Worse if standing for long periods.
First noticed inability to "think on my feet" when I was age 16 at my first job.
Pain in back when bending over and while standing to lift anything. Example, a gallon of water.
Pain in back when lying down, while sitting, while standing.
Difficulty lying down straight in bathtub, standing while shaving legs, use caution when
getting out of tub which I don't do often due to not being able to take baths much because
money matters more than anything else.

Visible, audible, smell-able (can smell) problems. People can see, hear and smell these issues
yet someone (my second son) told me a couple of weeks ago I am a hypochondriac.
He smirks and says he has to hear about these problems every day (every time I see him)
Husband says "I can't do anything about it", "Sure you've got some back problems but
what you've really got is mental problems", "You just want pity and sympathy", "If you can
walk around the block and pick up your grandson you're not disabled. Disabled people
are in a wheelchair."
Eldest son keeps saying get a disability attorney. I tell him it won't do any good. I have to
go to the doctor first and have recent medical records. They won't be able to do
anything from medical records I have from 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002, 2001,
2000, 1999, 1998, etcetera.

Family gatherings, holiday get togethers are a nuisance.
Pets (cats, dogs, etcetera) are a nuisance.
Babies and children are a nuisance.
People are a nuisance.
Animals are a nuisance.

I'd rather have Thanksgiving dinner at home
but so and so sister is having a dinner and I don't want to go.
Those blankety blank other family members are going to be there,
the such and such surnames (relatives/inlaws of my sister)
and I don't care about them. So and so is just an old farmer type
and doesn't seem to fit in.
My family is so boring. I can't help it.
The other sister thinks she has
to have a dinner for Thanksgiving and Christmas at her house
but we could have one here and invite her.

I cook my turkey upside down. Breast side down. Juicy white turkey meat.

I cook my turkey upside down. Breast side down. Juicy white turkey meat.

Since November 1981 when I put my first turkey in the oven and
"accidentally" put it in the oven upside down with 2 sticks of butter on top,
had to turn the oven temperature down to about 225 because we
had to leave and visit relatives for Thanksgiving dinner
and eat dry white turkey meat,
came back home to carve the turkey and it collapsed into
the juiciest white breast turkey meat I had ever tasted,
I have continued my tradition and cook it breast side down.
I don't have to baste it.
Sometimes I flip it over, breast side up during the last hour or so
if I want to brown the skin on that side.

Money minded and materialistic demonize cigarettes, smoking, burning incense.
Their communication is superficial, not deep, not emotional.

Mom's boot camp

Pick your nose in private. Wash your hands and fingernails when you're done.
Don't stick your fingers in the food. Especially don't lick your fingers then
touch anything.
Don't take the serving utensil and use it as your own.
Use a plate for your food. Don't walk around eating cookies or pizza and
drop crumbs all over the floor.
Say "Excuse me" if you belch.
Pass gas from the other end in private if possible. If not, apologize and walk away.
Clean up after yourself everywhere you go.
Pay close attention to the smell of  your armpits. Make them smell better right away.
Wash your hands before you eat.
Wash your hands before you exit a restroom/bathroom.
Wash your hands in the bathroom/utility or laundry room if you have been
doing typical men's greasy work on cars, outdoor lawn work or the like not
in the kitchen sink while I am preparing a meal or washing dishes.
Push the chair in under the table or desk when you exit. Always.
Talk to me in the room I am in. Don't yell at me through the walls
Hold the door open for everyone not just me.

Guts

How can I follow my heart, my intuition, my gut feelings and do the right things aligned with the source energy when my gut is ill?
I have had problems with my stomach and intestines as far back as I can remember, at age 2 or 3. The digestive issues might go back to my infancy. I was fed cow's milk, never breast fed and ate lots of processed food, sugar, candy, soda and white bread as a child.
I was often sick with colds, flu, allergies and asthma. At age 6 I was put in the hospital due to severe asthma attacks.
Inhalers and antibiotics were prescribed, which I used frequently until I was 16.
My mother gave me Fletcher's castoria on a regular basis to help relieve my constipation.
I believe that the heavy advertising and constant promotion of sugar filled foods and drinks and processed food loaded with sodium, artificial flavors, colors and other manmade flavor enhancers is the cause of not only my health problems but that of the world.

External signs of liver problems

External signs of liver problems

External signs you may have a liver problem

Did you know that you can tell how healthy a person’s liver is just by looking at them?  Your liver does so many vitally important functions in your body and when it is not healthy, this creates several outward signs.  Your liver burns fat and it regulates your metabolism, but your liver also cleanses and purifies your bloodstream.  If your liver is sluggish, toxins will accumulate inside your body and this will affect the way you look.

Some outward signs of poor liver function include:

Dark circles under the eyes
Lumps of fat in the skin, particularly on the eyelids
Skin rashes
Red cheeks
Pot belly
Cellulite
Yellowing of the whites of the eyes
Coated tongue
Bad breath
Excessive sweating
Itchy skin
Red, swollen, itchy (allergic) eyes
Red palms
Acne rosacea
Brownish spots and blemishes on the skin
Dilated facial blood vessels (red capillaries)

A lot of our patients aren’t too worried about the health of their liver, but they are concerned about their appearance.  You don’t need to have a specific liver disease in order to have a dysfunctional liver.  Many people only associate alcohol with liver dysfunction and believe if they don’t drink much, there should be nothing wrong with their liver.  Nothing could be further from the truth!  Modern life and its associated exposure to stress, environmental chemicals, processed foods and medication means that everybody’s liver is under constant stress.

If you have several signs of liver dysfunction and you want to do something about it, I recommend the following:

  • Go to your doctor and ask for a blood test called a liver function test.  This is a good starting point for finding out how healthy your liver is.  Please remember though that this test is not particularly sensitive; it will only tell you if you have actual damage to your liver cells.
  • Follow the eating principles in my book Fatty Liver: You Can Reverse It.  The eating plan in this book is suitable for everyone concerned about their liver health, not just those with a fatty liver.
  • Take a good quality liver tonic like Livatone.  This will help your liver to detoxify your bloodstream and cope with environmental toxins more effectively.
  • Take a selenium supplement.  Glutathione is your body’s most powerful detoxifier and you require selenium in order to manufacture it.  Selenium deficiency is extremely common as it is difficult to get enough of this precious mineral through diet alone.
The above statements have not been evaluated by the FDA and are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any disease.

Symptoms Of Liver Damage

Symptoms Of Liver Damage
Liver disease is serious and requires treatment and regular monitoring by a liver specialist.
A liver specialist is known as a hepatologist and you need to be referred by your family doctor or general practitioner. Over nearly 40 years of practicing medicine I have seen many patients develop severe liver disease, which sadly could have been prevented by early detection and early referral to a hepatologist. There needs to be more awareness of liver disease so that patients can be treated early so that we can prevent cirrhosis, liver failure and liver cancer. Make sure you have your liver function checked annually with a blood test.
I have presented my ideas on how to help those with liver diseases using nutritional medicine, which I have been using for many years with good success rates. However my recommendations do not replace the care of your own doctor and you should remain under the care of your own doctor whilst using nutritional therapies.
If you have any questions you may contact my naturopaths on 623 3343232 or email us atcontact@liverdoctor.com
