the person, woman that got away
he never had her or if he was with her it wasn't for long..maybe she dumped him because he was inadequate
she left an empty spot in his being
a void he feels like he needs to fill
he felt unworthy, unwanted, not good enough
he thought if he worked harder, hard enough, he would get her someday
